Schoolcraft is a social-issue driven film based on the true events of an NYPD officer, Adrain Schoolcraft, who encountered racism and corruption within his Brooklyn precinct. Beginning in 2008, for 17 months, Schoolcraft recorded audio files of police interactions to collect as evidence. When his ranking officers eventually discovered him, Schoolcraft was met with extreme instances of harassment and intimidation—and his tapes almost never saw the light of day.
